6 USEFUL FEATURES OF A MOTOROLA PHONE

Every smartphone manufacturer puts on its products unique features that competition usually does not. This is a healthy way to encourage innovation in the market as companies offer options for consumers, especially when the market seems saturated very similar devices to each other.

1 – Take pictures in sequence

One of the software that manages the differential camera Motorola is the fact that the user can tap anywhere on the screen to register an image. What many users do not know, however, is that you can register multiple photos in sequence. Just keep your finger pressing the screen.

2 – Enter and hold the keyboard

Anyone who has used a smartphone with physical keyboard certainly miss the security that those models brought to the typing of texts and messages. However, the almost pure Android keyboard that came with the Motorola devices need not be used in the traditional way, with a key press after the other. You can also just swipe your finger over the characters you want to enter and leave the system to write each word. Only “release” the keyboard when you want to insert a space. This feature not only allows for faster typing but also decreases the incidence of errors.

3 – Save the battery

Running out of power at a delicate moment is one of the major daily dramas of this modern and connected world. Motorola Handsets have a battery saving mode which cuts unnecessary features such as animations and background apps, so you can breathe a little more relieved at a time of tightening. Just access the settings panel, tap on the battery icon, access the extra options and selecting “Battery Saver”. Check the switch to on and ready. You can also determine when the device should enter this mode automatically, if necessary.

4 – Set standards of behavior

In addition to Google Now, default virtual assistant Google, Motorola has its own (prototype) built-in virtual assistant on their smartphones. Motorola Assist is a preinstalled app that allows you to set standards of behavior in certain situations. The phone can take calls handsfree when you’re driving or even mute it during meetings, for example. The Assist can even learn every day “watching” your habits.

5 – Turn the screen without touching the device

Some of Motorola’s models use intelligently the proximity sensor that almost every smartphone has. Is this sensor that turns off the screen when you bring the phone to your ear during a call. If you are the owner of a Moto X or Moto E, you can enable the handset screen approaching the device with a hand gesture to the side. If the feature is not working by default, enable it using the Motorola Assist app.

6 – Shake to use the flashlight

Another sensor and used by Motorola smartphones is gyroscope, which interprets the movements made by the unit to activate certain functions (such as rotating the screen in portrait or landscape mode, for example). In Moto X, you can also shake the phone to get quick access to the flashlight without activating the screen and unblock the system for it.
